Sandra B. Weir, age 83, of Jasper, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at The Retreat at Jasper. She was born September 12, 1940 to Thomas and Edwina Brazil in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Tom Weir of Jasper; son, Robert Burns of Atlanta; daughters and sons-in-law, Allison and Joel Jones of Kingsport, Tennessee, Melanie Costley of Oregon, Carol and Larry Morris of Grayson, Susan and Gary Ross of Douglasville, son, Jeff Weir of Cumming; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Lance and Gloria Brazil of Jacksonville, Florida.

She was preceded in death by husband, George Burns and baby sister, Barbara Brazil.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 1, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Terry Burress officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery: 1680 Westview Drive SW; Atlanta, GA 30310.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Northside Church of Christ in Jasper.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
