Ronald Wesley Crothers, age, 75 of Ocoee, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 31, 1940 in Natchez, Miss. He attended Russell High School in East Point, GA, college at GA Tech in Atlanta, GA, Florida Forest Ranger School in Lake City from 1961-1963, he also attended Cleveland State Community College and graduated from Lee College in 1977 with a degree in Biology. He worked for the U.S. Forest Service in the Cherokee National Forest and Ocoee from March 1963-2001. He was an avid reader, woodworker, and spelunker in his early years. He was a Ham Radio enthusiast and loved bluegrass music. His favorite place was the outdoors. He was a son of the late Achilles Ezador and Ida Holliday Crothers.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Ronnie Moses of Athens, TN; grandson, Davis Wesley Studdard of Knoxville, TN; and former Wife, Judith Crothers, Athens, TN.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m., - 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to charity of your choice.
