Raymon L. Sprayberry, 78, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.  Mr. Sprayberry died at home in Stone Mountain surrounded by his wife and the pets he loved so much. Mr. Sprayberry was born in Malone, AL and moved to LaGrange, GA when he was about five years old. As a teenager he left LaGrange to go to East Point, GA where he enrolled at Russell High School in the 10th grade. In his junior and senior years, he participated in the D.E. (Distributive Education) Program, where he attended classes a half-day and worked a half-day for the Fulton County Board of Education in the Audio-Visual Department. Following his graduation, he became a traveling salesman of consumer electronics and through the years he worked for several different companies in that capacity. In 2000 he retired and moved to Bowdon, GA. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Nancy Sprayberry, wife Barbara of 48 years, brother Lonnie Sprayberry, and sisters Clara Allsup, Lillian Thompson and Lucille Wilkinson. In 2008 he reconnected with his high school sweetheart Dianne Loggins and married her in 2011. 

He is survived by his wife Dianne, three sons: Robbie Sprayberry and Randall Sprayberry both of Texas and Ronald Sprayberry of Arizona, along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons on Friday April 27th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Larry Temple Burgess officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro, GA. The family will receive friends Friday April 27th from 12:30 pm to service hour at A.S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Road Decatur, GA 30033, (404) 292-1551.
