Obituary

Joe Walter Cartwright, Jr., 72, of Fayetteville, passed away November 26, 2012. He served his country in the US Army Reserves and retired after 34 years of service. He was also a letter carrier with the US Postal Service and retired after 36 years of dedicated service. Mr. Cartwright is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Robbie Bell Caw Toni and Mike Sams of Molena, Georgia and Donna and Ron Phillips of Brooks, Georgia and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Reverend Carolyn Clifton will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 29 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Cartwright to The American Cancer Society.
