I've been happily married to the same wonderful husband for 42 years and we have two daughters. Our older daughter has four children and lives in Virginia, and our younger daughter is developmentally disabled and lives with us. I received a master's degree in nursing in 1983 and worked in a variety of positions in VA, MD, and DC. For the last seven years of my career, I was on the faculty and taught Community Health Nursing at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. We moved to Pinehurst, NC (a lovely resort village and home of the famous Pinehurst #2 course) in 1994 when my husband retired, and I taught part time at UNC/Pembroke until finally retiring for good a few years ago. We love retirement and love Pinehurst. Now I spend my time doing volunteer work, golfing, reading, gardening, being on the Session at our church, and just plain enjoying life! I often think of my high school friends and really enjoy the reunions. Hope we all have many more happy and healthy years to attend them.
